Gina Bodelsen has been a resident of Mahopac for the past 30 years. As a child she immigrated from Petorano Sul Gizio, Italy . She settled with her family in Cold Spring , New York , a small community in Putnam County known for it's arts and antiques. Her love of the old Masters to the modernists has inspired her to try to achieve a small portion of their intensity. For the past 15 years she has primarily painted in oils, showcasing still life, floral, landscaping, figures and portraits, which are all available for purchase.
Ms. Bodelsen's art is displayed on an ongoing basis at Standing Ovation at Baldwin Place , New York .
